Getting up and moving on (Resilience)
Have you ever failed in life? Have you found yourself repeating the same mistake over and over again?
In my life I have often found myself down. All dusty and confused about how I ended up there.
What where the things I did that got me there. How could I get out of this mess?
From that point you have 3 choices:
- stay down
- get up because of new circumstances
- or get up by choice.
No matter what we choose to do, life will keep moving with or without you. Staying down was never an option for me, the reason is that it hurts too much to be there.
Resilience is a psychological skill that we can all build. We don’t have to wait for the big devastating events to hit us. We build it every time things don’t go according to our plan. We do it every time we fail, every time we get hurt.
